The location of Catlins Retreat B & B is perfect, near Owaka, the museum, Teapot Land, a pub. It is also close to the shore at dusk. the bed was comfy, and the room was a nice size.

Charming accommodation with a warm host. Spacious, well-decorated rooms. Great breakfast choices available. Unique touches like board games and knitting supplies. Enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and provided luxuries like crystal stemware. 🍷.

The double room overlooks garden and includes an electric kettle, refrigerators, and glassware. The interior is nice and design is convenient. Good location near shops, and township and the points of interest around the catlins areas, it's central. Also, Teapot World Museum is just around the corner.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and happy to suggest local attractions, with a convenient location near the town center and close to the shore for a beautiful sunset view as well as the Lumberjack cafe.

I had so much fun riding a bike around the area, it was like being in the Tour de France. And let's not forget the continental breakfast, I felt like a queen devouring those croissants.
Oh, I just loved the free WiFi, it was like a game trying to connect every time. How thrilling!

Clean and cozy accommodation with attention to detail. Soft and fluffy towels - daily restocked hot drink packets, and bathroom amenities were all provided. Convenient location near the town - making it a great base for exploring the Catlins region. Host was welcoming - respectful, and provided clear communication before our arrival. The decor was quirky and beautifully kept - with lovely touches like chocolates on the table. The breakfast offered a variety of healthy choices.
